Cheryl Smith Turner is a seasoned trainer and consultant who brings passion, professionalism and many years of experience as an educator to each and every presentation. As the founder of REACH Teaching Learning Solutions (TLS), an educational consulting firm with offices in Atlanta, Georgia, Cheryl provides educators with the insight and training for improved instructional strategies that contribute to a positive climate for learning.  Cheryl obtained her Specialist in Education Degree from Georgia State University and her Master of Education from Emory University.   She is nationally certified to train educators on strategies for classroom management and is a featured presenter for a variety of national staff development organizations, universities and agencies.  She is also a state-approved Trainer III for Georgia, qualified to deliver beginning, intermediate or advanced level training to early care and education professionals statewide.   Additionally, as certified trainer for Strengthening Families Georgia, Cheryl provides training and instructional support for child and family-serving organizations. 

Cheryl provides professional development workshops and training on a variety of topics, to include classroom management and school climate, social-emotional learning, language and literacy development, critical thinking skills, brain-based learning and support of dual language learners.  The common thread in her presentations is Cheryl’s view of teaching as a spiritual task where the work that we do on behalf of learners must begin with empowered educators who connect with students and create powerful and positive climates for learning. Cheryl engages her audiences with a high-energy, interactive training style that combines practical strategies and impactful, relevant content with a dash of humor and a heaping helping of fun!
